Is 1 teaspoon of salt correct ? ANSWER: YES, The warning will activate after 1/3rd of a teaspoon of salt is added. This will provide only minimal ionisation. Disregard the warning and use 1 teaspoon of salt and it the unit will work. The warning should activate just before the PSU trips at 2.4A and this is currently not the case. While this does not stop the unit from operating the conflict with the operating instructions may cause users to feel the unit is faulty.
